This time last year, many had hoped that due to the variety of Corona vaccines, the pandemic would end in 2021 and we would get our old freedoms back. The reality is very different. Vaccine sceptics, the non-recognition of the Russian and Chinese vaccine in the EU, the lack of sufficient global availability of vaccines, constantly changing national regulations…
Worldwide travel is more arduous than ever before and international client visits are difficult in many countries, impossible in some. But the positive side is that we can travel again and do so wherever possible.
We missed the personal contacts and conversations with you. Now we enjoy and appreciate even more that we can take care of the customers and sales together with you.
The biggest challenge besides Covid this year has been the commodity market. Sharply rising prices and the lack of availability of raw materials are painful and have unfortunately resulted in longer delivery times. Combined with the very difficult situation on the labour market in Austria and Germany (the economy is booming, there is full employment, fewer and fewer people want to work in the manufacturing industry), the precise and reliable planning of production orders is becoming a Herculean task. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff in purchasing, planning and production for their efforts. They are doing a fantastic job and sometimes they realize what has seemed virtually impossible.
A huge thank you is due to you, our partners and friends of the MOGUNTIA FOOD GROUP. With early orders, quarterly advance planning, increased flexibility, good communication and the corresponding understanding of partnership, you are helping in a truly excellent way to master the current difficult times.
The preparations for the IFFA 2022 are already in full swing. It will be a very attractive stand in an excellent location. We are looking forward to a successful trade fair appearance together with you.
